We were able to lead devotions this morning at IPEE. Yes… IN SPANISH!!! At IPEE (the Evangelical Covenant Church or Ecuador) they have devotions every week. A time to study the word, pray and fellowship. We try to attend every week as it is a great way to maintain our relationship with everyone. Well, this time around it was our turn to lead devotions. You can imagine how nervous we were to lead something like devotions in Spanish. But everything seemed to go just fine. Now, it’s true we ended up just reading a lot of the material that we were given to prepare for it, but still, it was a pretty good accomplishment for us.
Also, we just wanted to update everyone in the Blog world. We were able to take a nice long walk as a family on both Saturday and Monday. Things seem to have returned to normal as the police are working again and things seem safe now. We were definitely excited to be outside!!!
