After seven cycles, and the hope of more to come, much growth has been seen within the Oaxaca community through the Fuentes Libres program. The project seeks to empower the women in Oaxaca City to recognize their ability and talents in gathering their own income, utilizing their administrative and organization talents, and participating in the affairs of the association.  By learning these skills and taking advantage of the resources already before them, the women have been able to not only become more involved in the community, but able to leave the poverty surrounding them as well, thus improving their overall quality of life.  Through the help of North Park University Students, the Education Service Home and Health organization, Proworld, and numerous pastors and leaders of the Christian church, workshops were developed to supply the women with the necessarily tools and knowledge on micro-business, integral development and bettering their family and social relationships.  Though some within the community still struggle to accept this opportunity of change in their lives, most recognize the hope this program presents them with, through the work of God in their community.
