Government instability and conflict between North Sudan the new country of South Sudan has created an economic crisis where the government is unable to provide resources for basic operation of the health centers. Covenant World Relief has been working with World Relief to ensure basic health services continue to operate for members of the community.

My name is Maria Nankur mother to Maet Chuna (1 1/2). I live in Boaw not far from the health facility. Maet felt sick with fever, cough and difficulty in breathing. I immediately took him to the health facility. On arrival, Maet was examined by the health personnel and was admitted for further investigation and treatment. Maet received the necessary treatment and became better after two days; I’m now ready to go home with my baby healed. Thank you to the organization for the services in the health facility. My baby could have developed some complications and died if not because of this health facility – the only one in this area.
