A Sustainable Future in Haiti through Agriculture

On our recent trip to Haiti it was evident that Haiti is still recovering from the devastating earthquake of January 2010. However, CWR partners have long since moved from relief and recovery to long-term transformational development. Three of CWR’s four projects are addressing food security and income generation through agriculture. Cecelia Gonzales from our partner World Relief said, “Teaching and enabling sustainable agriculture is so much better than feeding programs that only grow dependency instead of the internal strength of individuals and the whole community.”
