India for Christ Ministries has several holistic community development projects in India in partnership with Covenant World Relief. One project has begun to transform the life of a young man named Ramanjunailu.
The following is a report from IFCM:
Ramanjunailu comes from a very poor family in Kasthurirajugaripalle. They belong to the backward caste and are outcasts in their village. They do not own anything in the village. His father is very sick and unable to move out. (His) mother works as a daily wage laborer. His family is struggling to survive. Ramanjunailu was unable to continue studies, as his parents could not afford to send him to be educated. Now through the holistic community development sustainable livelihood program, he has been able to join a computer course.

The story of transformation of Ramanjunailu has just begun but this new opportunity to earn a sustainable livelihood opens many new doors for him and his family.
