CWR is partnering with World Relief in Disaster Risk Reduction training in Pakistan. 83 members of various disaster management committees and emergency teams developed and were trained in different disaster mitigation strategies, preparing action plans, coordinating community responses and evaluations, and providing direct and immediate assistance during a disaster. This was all in an effort to better prepare those already on the ground in case of a disaster, like a flood. This training was in an effort to better educate communities on risks and ways to respond to disasters in a collective response.
