Covenant World Relief is partnering with World Relief International in providing immediate food relief in northern Kenya’s Turkana District. With the help of local churches, the initial emergency response will last about six months and provide clean water, sanitation and a general food distribution. Following the initial response, World Relief will be starting a food security program that will provide seeds, training and demonstrations of sustainable small farming practices.
