Here is a snapshot of some of the remarkable ways your generous support is providing immediate relief and beginning to rebuild Haiti.

Clean Water
*The digging of four wells (two more to be drilled this week). These wells provide clean water to an average of 500 people each.
*Last week we distributed 80,000 gallons of water to vulnerable families, serving about 16,000 households with water.

Food
*Within days after the earthquake we were working to serve two hot meals for up to 10,000 people per day (at a cost of less than $2/person).
*One church that serves as a distribution center for meals has been provided 2,200 bags of rice – enough to feed more than 100,000 people.  The church has been trained and has set up a system with the church to distribute the rice, and ensure that the food gets into the hands of those who need it the most.

Shelter
*We are providing temporary shelter, including distributing over 70,000 tarps.

Medical
*Numerous teams of medical volunteers continue to serve in Haiti. Teams are now serving not only in Port-au-Prince, but are traveling to and from the makeshift camps in the surrounding areas. They have ministered to well over 4,000 patients.
*One medical team served in the Carrefour community and saw an average of 200 patients per day.
*Your support has helped to transport over $2.5 million worth of the most needed medicines and medical supplies (nearly all of which was donated).
