Run-a-thon

The Running Club is adding more kilometers to their weekly running schedule as they prepare their legs, hearts and lungs for the January goal of climbing Mt. Cameroon.

Ready, set, GO! Backed by the names of graduates from 2013 to 2016 the Running Club of 2016-17 embarks on Run-a-thon.

With pledges in writing, students ran either 15 km or 21 km (which is 1/2 marathon) to get in shape, and to raise funds for the Mt. Cam trip.

Non runners gave encouragement by offering drinks, fruits, and squirts from water bottles as runners passed by.

Some of us served as timers — keeping track of laps run and times. They all had to make the run within a certain time to be allowed to do the big climb.

Congratulations to all students (and adult supervisors) in running club for meeting their goal of 15 or 21 km!!
