One of our favorite traditions here has been the Easter sunrise service. Growing up in Michigan, I came to expect the possibility of snowstorms on Easter Sunday. Not in Cameroon! Every year we can confidently plan this great way to celebrate the resurrection of our Savior, Jesus!

We gather at the RFIS campus, where we can get a good view of the rising sun, for singing, Scripture reading and worship.

And then we head back to the houses to share breakfast together. This time we met at the pavillion where we usually meet for our small “home church” gatherings ever since covid hit.

Worship, food, fellowship, coffee, tea, friends; all in celebration of LIFE in Christ!
