RFIS Carnival 2018

Carnival time at RFIS when all the students set up games, food, and activities for kids of all ages to enjoy. Saturday was a perfect day for fun in the sun!

Many of the classic favorites were there such as cake walk, fish pond, nail and face painting,  petting zoo, video games and a lounge for parents, next to a nursery for small children. Students had worked hard for weeks to repair another favorite, the dunk tank.

For those who wanted to cool down by getting wet, there were a slip n slide…

…and bobbing for Tampicos (frozen juice in a bag).

Something that got everyone’s attention at lunch time was the smokin’ grill with polish sausages and hot dogs. The senior boys have become experts at grilling.

Besides lunch, one could buy snacks like kettle corn and funnel cakes, cold drinks and iced coffee.

Ron and I manned the zipline again.

He attached it to the new gym this year for a higher, fasater, longer ride!

The newest addition to Carnival this year was a bouncy house! Great fun for kids to jump and climb on.

If you find yourself in Yaounde when RFIS Carnival is happening, you won’t want to miss it!
