Ron’s favorite lunch: Ham and cheese on French “baguette” bread
Safu: fruit? Boil to soften the fleshy part, then dip in soy sauce. Kind of like a tart avocado… kind of.
The woman next door grills fish at her little cafe. With rice, safu and beans & carrots it’s a great meal!
It seems bananas are always available. We don’t buy the whole stalk anymore, just a few at a time. Great in the morning with granola and yogurt.
All natural sugar. We cut the stalks up into pieces; chew and suck out the sweetness, then toss the woody pulp. YUM!
