Special Visitors

Last week we had a couple of very special visitors: Josef Rasheed, Regional Coordinator for Africa and Al Tizon, Executive Minister of Serve Globally (formerly Covenant World Mission).

Due to schedules Josef was able to spend several days with us before Al arrived, so he visited classes to see our Covenant missionaries in action…

When Al arrived in Cameroon from the US he and Josef flew up to Banyo for an overnight to see Lori and Josh Shinar and their ministry

Then they went by road to Gamboula, CAR to visit the Danforths for a few days (gotta stay at least 2 days to make the full long day drive each way worthwhile — and going to see Danforths is ALWAYS worthwhile!!)

We are so grateful for these wonderful new leaders in Covenant ministry, and look forward to seeing them again when they come in April for our Africa missionary retreat.
