One day I came home mid-morning, to find a big truck parked outside our house — a cement truck!

The duplex we live in is mainly complete. But the ground floor is pretty much “ground” … that is, dirt.

We were finally able to pave that ground floor

The concrete was poured from this truck parked just outside our house.

Smoothing it out

Now we won’t have to walk through dirt to get from the bottom of the stairs (up to the main floor of our home) to the laundry area between the 2 containers on the left! It’s so nice to go to the “basement” and not have to walk through dirt!
