A mission trip to Africa over summer vacation is way easier to do when you already live in Africa

This summer Ben and Nate each went on different trips to serve alongside Christians.

Ben went with a couple families and some RFIS students to Bamenda in Northwest Cameroon to work at the Helping Hands Children’s Home.

They spent some of the time tutoring children.

They spent part of the time playing with the children and doing a Vacation Bible School (VBS) with them.

They spent part of the time working at the construction site of a new Helping Hands facility.

And they spent part of the time enjoying the local attractions, i.e. markets, and hiking in the hills.

Ben came home from his week at the Children’s Home with lots of stories, good memories and saying, “I want to go back there again next summer!”
