The other day while working at a sink in the Domestic Arts room, water splashed all over the floor.  Ernest, one of the maintenance guys Ron works with was walking by.  He brought a mop, cleaned up the water, and discovered a major leak.  So later on they did the plumbing repairs.

It got me thinking of all the behind-the-scenes work that goes on in the maintenance department at RFIS.

They keep all the rest rooms clean

They keep the buildings in good repair.  Two of the guys replaced screened windows with solid glass in the office that contains temperature and humidity sensitive equipment.

Charles trimmed the shrubbery between buildings.

Even Ron gets in the action — especially now that the riding lawn mower arrived in December!

Theodore watered the Prayer Garden and several fruit trees through the dry season

They do a lot in a day’s work — keeping the buildings and grounds at RFIS working well and looking great!
