Early Easter morning we walked over to Wycliffe’s translation training center (CTC) for a sunrise service. Many Wycliffe missionaries were in town for their annual spiritual retreat and Branch Conference so there was a fairly large crowd.
Students from RFIS participated in music and a dramatic reading of Narnia (a portion of the story that parallels the resurrection story). After the message there was a time of prayer for the nations. Then everyone was encouraged to decorate a wooden cross with flowers.

After the service we headed over to the cafeteria for potluck pastries (hot crossed buns among other goodies), coffee, tea and fruit juices.
Then we Zs went home for a brunch of our own before heading off to the International Christian Church of Yaounde which is held in a meeting room of the Hilton Hotel downtown. After the service the bigger kids hid plastic eggs for the little kids in the Sunday School class to find!
