Kingsburg

We just spent the weekend in Kingsburg with dear friends.  As I stood in church and looked around the congregation, I had a hard time not crying for joy and tender memories.  We were fed and taken care of royally, and in the photo you see Roy sharing after a meal at Dave & Paulette’s.  What an amazing gift from God Kingsburg is to us.  We have been so loved and supported and helped and cared for there.  From our first moments there in 1993 when we walked into a lovingly furnished home complete with stocked shelves and refrigerator up this minute when I can’t even begin to count how many dear friends we have come to know and love there, we have been blessed by the Kingsburg Covenant church family.  Bless you, my buddies, you are ever in our hearts!!  Thank you so much for all your loving care!!

About danforth

As Covenant missionaries, we are working with all the tribal groups of the Central African Republic (CAR) but are trying to give special attention to the Fulani, a Musxlim, cattle herding, and semi-nomadic people group. We live on an experimental/training farm, near a mission station which has a hospital plus bible and nursing schools. We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts. Due to the ongoing conflict and resultant ethnic cleansing in CAR, we are crossing the border to interact with our Fulani contacts.
