VISA UPDATE!!

not pictured : the Ecuadorian daughter making it all possible!

We are OVERJOYED to share that we have finally received our permanent residency visas!  It has been over a year since we began the process.  Hours and hours in the immigration office, trips back to the US, changes in immigration law here, numerous documents apostilled and translated and now we finally have the visas in hand.  Thank you all for your faithful prayers and support!

Now that we have our visas, we need to begin the process of getting our official Ecuadorian ID cards and our drivers licenses, but it does feel like there is an end in sight to the paperwork needed to live and work here!
