The boys had fall break this past week and so we had a couple opportunities to get out of the city and enjoy some time as a family. We enjoyed the opportunity to spend the day at a nature preserve with our friends, Jorge, Sandra, Manuel and Maria. Jorge is the pastor of a local church and the regional president for the Covenant so it was nice to be able to share time together, take some much needed time to rest  and enjoy God’s creation.

We also took the boys out to enjoy a waterfall that’s about an hour from our house. The day was rainy and cold, but by the time we got to the waterfall the rain stopped and the boys enjoyed every minute of exploring this new place. We enjoyed hot chocolate and arepas!
