CHICAGO, IL (November 11, 2013) – World Relief International is using funds from Covenant World Relief (CWR) to provide assistance in the Philippines after Typhoon Haiyan sliced through the central part of the nation and killed an estimated 10,000 people over the weekend.

The storm, considered among the worst ever recorded, also left several hundred thousand people without food, water, and medical care, according to government and non-governmental leaders. Read more…
