Well, it’s time for an update. I’ve spent a wonderful week in OH, PA and NY. Thanks to some superb ground work, I was able to visit eight churches in eight days!

Sun. Oct. 16  Bethany Covenant Church, Lyndhurst, OH

This is one of the funnest bunch of folks anywhere! We worshiped, ate and laughed together until we just couldn’t stand it any more. Thanks everyone!

Mon. Oct. 17  Emmanuel Mission Church, Kane, PA

A great dinner and sharing time at Kane’s very own hot spot; Texas Hots!

Tues. Oct. 18  ECC, Ridgway, PA

Another great meal with area pastors from Ridgway, Port Allegany and DuBois. Yum!

Tues. Oct. 18  Stoneridge Covenant Church, Allison Park, PA

A very well attended evening meeting with the folks from Stoneridge, including a very jet lagged pastor, just off the plane from Israel! And a really fun reunion with a childhood best-friend, and a morning visit to the church preschool!

Wed. Oct. 19  Buffalo ECC, Buffalo, NY

I was totally stoked by their Thanksgiving dinner extravaganza for folks in the neighborhood. They served 150! Then we had a good old fashioned “missionary show” and actually had a lot of fun in the process. The next morning I was given a grand tour of Niagara Falls. Wow!

Thu. Oct. 20  Austin Town Community ECC, Austin Town, OH

A fun evening meeting with folks who braved the seriously frigid weather and then a delicious morning brunch with several area pastors.

Fri. Oct. 21  ECC of Hudson, Hudson, OH

A truly potent chili cookoff and a killer home theatre to boot! And the sushi lunch the next day was mmm…mmm… good! Oh, and did I mention lots of play time with three uber fun kids!

Sat. Oct. 22

A drive through Amish country and an evening of NBA basketball at the Q! Go Cavs, Go!

Sun. Oct. 23  First Covenant Church, Ashtabula, OH

Two SS classes, worship and a fab lunch with fab folk. Then a sunset walk on the beach and a delicious dinner.

Now, I’m done! Tomorrow is a travel day, back home to Hydi and the kids!
