Pressing Forward – On Retreat

It is February and that means it is time to retreat.  In this case retreat does not mean to back away or fall back.   Instead it mean to press forward into relationships with God and each other, while taking a “break” from the normal school routine.

The Middle School students will be staying around the campus and town involved with a number of activities.  They will be going to a deaf school where my class visited in December on our community service day.

The High School students will be heading out of town to a hotel/plantation where we have gone before, although it has been a seven years since we were at Rock Farm.

Please pray for safety as we travel(both in and out of town), enjoy the facilities (including the pool at Rock Farm) and activities planned, and focus on hearing God’s voice. Particularly pray for Jeff who has severe pain in his arm and shoulder area and will be leading an Economics simulation for two hours each day
