Friends (of the four hoofed kind)

This is Lily (but Lily turned out to be a boy not a girl) so he is sometimes called Lyle.    Lily-Lyle is a sitatunga – a type of antelope.  He was rescued as a baby, but outgrew his previous home.  However Lily-Lyle really would like to be part of a family and is quite expert at getting out of his large enclosure on our property.

Nate was luring him away since he not only likes the slightly rotten cucumbers I was throwing out but he also likes my flowers.  I am rather protective of my newly grown dahlias.
