NEW COLLEAGUE JOINS US IN CONGO

What a joy it is to have Marta Klein join us in Congo. Marta, a physician’s assistant from Salina, KS, will serve in Karawa after she completes ~7 weeks of Lingala study. She just arrived from France where she studied French for 4-1/2 months. She joined us in Cameroon for the spiritual retreat March 21-25 and then traveled to Congo with us last week. Marta commented during the retreat that the last year has been one full of training for service here. Following Covenant World Mission training and equipping for service, she studied tropical medicine in West Virginia for 2 months, had a week of CHE training and then French studies. She started Lingala study her second day here and used it during her greeting in church today. She is pictured with former president Duale who prayed for her during the introduction today.
