Please pray for this man, son of Chief T. A few years back, he was kidnapped and held for $11,000 ransom. The family scraped together the money and he was freed, and your prayers had a part in that. That story had a happy ending.
Then, last year, he was in a terrible motorcycle accident, with broken bones including a broken head. You can see the arc shaped scar on his forehead, but don’t pay attention to the squinty scowl. He is usually a smiling, warm man, but he’s facing the sun while waiting to shake the hand of our local gov’t head. Y was in a coma as a result of the accident and the family took him to various places for healing. He is pretty much back to normal health-wise now, and your prayers had a part in that. That story had a happy ending.
A week or two ago, our colleague, Kim, was able to visit Y’s cattle and have some precious one on one time with him. Kim shared his heart and his earnest desire to introduce Y to Jesus. Y listened, apparently with interest. Please pray with us that this story might have a very happy ending!
