Up a tree!

blog-up-a-treeWe haven’t been able to get online for 2 weeks now, even across the river where the connection is usually much better.  Thankfully most of the time we can send and receive email, but even that can be problematic if we’re attaching files.  Some of you have probably received more than one copy of something or maybe you saw the 3 identical postings on the CEFA blog (that blog can be posted to by email) because our outbox paginates and stalls in sending, up to 99%, and then tells us the mail was not delivered when in fact once in awhile it was. All the usual work like budgets and personal blog posts and, okay, play, like facebook, have gone by the wayside.  I’m trying right now a 4 in the morning, let’s see if I succeed!  In the meantime, thank you so much for your patience if you’re trying to keep up with us and what’s going on at the CEFA farm.

Okay, this post, finally with a photo, took about an hour.  Hey, is there anyone out there who would be willing to be a standby to post blogs for us, when we hit a non-connective wall like this, if we send them out by email?  Please respond by email, not with a reply on this post.  If you have the time and are willing, I can walk you through the steps.  Thank you!!

About danforth

As Covenant missionaries, we are working with all the tribal groups of the Central African Republic (CAR) but are trying to give special attention to the Fulani, a Musxlim, cattle herding, and semi-nomadic people group. We live on an experimental/training farm, near a mission station which has a hospital plus bible and nursing schools. We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts. Due to the ongoing conflict and resultant ethnic cleansing in CAR, we are crossing the border to interact with our Fulani contacts.
