Many of you have asked about how my arm is healing. We are thankful for good orthopedic care here in Samfam’s town. I have had good progress with swelling going down and increased mobility. I have just a brace/splint that I can take on and off, which is an incredible improvement over stiff and permanent casting. I do miss all the signatures and drawings on my old casts, though. I had 3 strangers’ signatures, just random shopkeepers and one passerby on the street, besides all the great pictures and love messages from family and friends. Pretty fun! My final appointment is Dec. 10th, and we will be heading back to Cameroon on Dec. 19th. Our plans after that are up in the air, so please pray for complete healing for my arm and for wisdom in decision making about what to do next.
