Once again, the SEHPAZ (Be Peace Make Peace) participants spent much of December sharing joy and gifts with hundreds of children in nearby communities. They partnered with Voluntarios de Oro and the Mineros S.A.S (a mining company), who provided the resources and gifts and collaborated in hosting Christmas celebrations for kids. From December 13-21, they visited children in 21 communities, villages and nearby towns like Puerto Gaitan, Sabalito, Puerto Astilla.
The youth, children, and young adults of SEHPAZ organized games, activities, face painting, and crafts to celebrate Christmas with the children in these communities. Many of the rural communities don’t have the resources to offer these type of celebrations. SEHPAZ once again showed the importance of teamwork, as they embarked on these visits motivated by love and the desire to sow peace in the territories and towns of their beloved state.
