It’s August 1st and in some ways the past month feels like a blur. In other ways it’s so crystal clear, with so many vivid images of God at work in the lives of young people. We had the privilege of participating in a month long discipleship & leadership training program for Hispanic Young Adults in Chicago, called CBCIPE. There were 23 young adults who came together to share life, take classes, worship together, serve in the community, learn from each other, and grow deeper in their relationship with God. It was such a powerful experience, getting to know the students, hearing their stories and watching God at work transforming them. Their testimonies are powerful and we’re excited for how God will continue to lead them and use them to bless others. We are thankful for the ways they touched our lives, for the ways in which they loved our children. Sam was in awe of all these new “big brothers and sisters.” Please continue to pray for these young adults, that they would continue to seek God with all their hearts and that God would use them to bring hope to a very broken world.
