Life has been busy this past month as we transition into life as a family of four! Baby Ben is growing daily and Sam is a good big brother. As parents we thank God for these precious children and ask for wisdom and patience as we raise them. We’re thankful for friends and family who have helped make this transition smoother. In the midst of being parents we are preparing for classes at the seminary to begin in two weeks and Katie is gearing up to begin working part-time starting the month of September.

We’re also looking forward to a couple trips where we’ll be visiting churches that have expressed an interest in partnering with us and learning more about the ministry in Colombia. We are hoping to visit other churches who share the same heart and vision to see lives and communities transformed by the Gospel of Jesus. We’re thankful for our home church, New Community, and a wonderful couple who have hosted “missionary movie nights” where we’ve had the opportunity to share more our hearts and our call to serve in Colombia.
