May the peace of our Lord be with you during this holy week. And we wish all of you great joy as you celebrate the victory of life over death. He is risen indeed!
Thanks for continuing prayer on our behalf. We had a great retreat together as a mission family on March 24-26. Rick & Gail Mylander from our ECC Midwest Conference were our special guests and were a great encouragement to all of us.
There were about 60 folks who attended our special outreach at the Isesaki Church through Pastor Ali Lejaian on March 30th. Thanks for praying! You can see a few photos HERE.
PRAYER NEEDS FOR APRIL:
- Easter Celebration – this Sunday the churches of Gunma are gathering for their annual Easter singspiration. Although this is mostly a gathering of believers we pray for special excitement and unity as we reach out to our pre-believing friends.
- CRC – this stands for “Covenant Refreshing Camp” and is our annual denomination-wide gathering of churches for learning, fellowship and encouragement. This year our gathering will be near Mt. Fuji and includes a special program for youth. 4 members of our “Isesaki Boys Club” will be attending.
- Our Home Assignment – this is a repeat request from last month. We’re still awaiting word on several items which will help us determine where Sam goes to college and where we will be living as a family for the upcoming year in the U.S. It has been a good time to learn patience and rest in the Lord. Since our last bulletin we’ve heard from MANY of you about a possible visit in your area during our home assignment. Thank you!
