At the end of August the Ecuadorian Covenant Church hosted an International Leadership Summit attended by around 160 pastors, leaders and youth from Ecuador, Colombia and Venezuela! The speakers were from Peru, Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador and the States, they shared a wealth of cross cultural wisdom and experience and from the feedback we are receiving, it was a blessing to our local leaders. Thank you for praying for this event!

Naomi survived (barely) the intense dawn-til-dusk work that is involved in organizing such a multi-faceted event while Joshua put in hours translating for the main speaker (Dave Olson) and also took advantage of “free time” to have meetings with various leaders and churches. Needless to say, we took a week to rest and recover.

During one of the evening services the Pastoral Council prayed over the missionary family that had just returned from Spain.
