Saturday was a busy day for Eli. In the morning he played in the last football game of the season. They were up against the best team in the league and hoped to put an end to their opponents’ undefeated season. They played a good game and Eli played offense, defense and both special teams so that was a highlight for him but they came up short in the end…
To be perfectly honest Hydi and I were thrilled that he made it through his first football season without any injuries.
Then in the evening Eli played in what would be his final basketball game for the fall season. It was the season end tournament and they faced a team they had beat twice but unfortunately they lost by 4 points. Oh well… Before long the YMCA season will be starting up. No time to pout!
