I spent a wonderful week from June 21st thru June 27th high in the Rockies at Covenant Heights, a denominational camp site near Estes Park. I had a blast playing the role of camp missionary, staff assistant, and whatever else they needed. Eli was a camper all week, in the adventure camp and seemed to have a great time as well.
I got to share with the kids about missions, teach them some Japanese songs, and makes lots and lots of friends. I can’t think of a better way to spend my second to last week in Colorado.
Meanwhile, Hydi and Miles were in Gunnison, CO where Hydi attended a basketball officiating camp on the campus of Western State College. Miles helped out at the camp a bit and did lots of fishing. Western is currently his #1 choice for college, so he was glad to spend some more time there checking things out.
And poor Kendra had to stay home all week lifeguarding. Grandma and Grandpa took good care of her.
