As I walked up to school through the main part of campus (as opposed to the back door that I usually take) in the rain this afternoon, I noticed how much the trees have grown. Not only are they growing but they are producing fruit in large quantities.
These little red bananas are still sweet and continue to grow year after year. They were featured a number of years ago in my post Banana Flowers.
Star Fruit – these are not super sweet but they are good and finally the trees produce enough that the students don’t strip them before they ripen.
Coconut anyone?
There are lots of producing Inga trees on campus and they have such beautiful flowers too!
And finally the Jackfruit tree!
There is plenty of jackfruit to share!
There is no doubt – the RFIS campus is Fruitful!
