We made it to South Africa with ALL our luggage, including Roy’s trunk full of plants. We will be in South Africa for three months, getting involved in the ministries at Genesis, the non-profit that Sam & Anna work with. Roy brought many fruit tree seedlings and seeds in hopes of helping out the locals with development and better nutrition.
In spite of having been up, in transit from Cameroon through Kenya to South Africa, for about 30 hours, the first item on the agenda was to get the bare rooted plants out of their plastic bags into the soil. We are SO EXCITED to be with Sam, Anna, Elaina, and Sawyer, and of course they had to help Gramptree get his trees planted!
