Thank you for praying for little Ramaata, (the one with the scarf) that the TB in her leg bones would be healed. She was released from the hospital, after a 2.5 month stay, and here she is reunited with her mom and siblings. She will continue to take her meds at home for another few months. Her spunky, funny, and loving grandma took care of her in the pediatric ward, insistent on staying however long the healing took. Ramaata has made great headway, and oh how it warms my heart to hear her giggle at her grandma’s antics! She is now able to bear weight on her bad leg and even to walk a bit. Thank you, Lord, for healing, for meds, and for the mission hospital where Fulani can safely get treatment. The hospital is a haven, with gates that are locked at night, and a staff that will, in general, stand up to those who would harass the Muslixms. And there are still those who hassle these people who have done nothing, who are targeted because they are the same religion as the rebels who continue to occupy the northeast.
