As we travel about and see friends and family, it is hard not to be overwhelmed. This past Sunday we were at the main Covenant church in Lafayette, Indiana, a church that began supporting us, just because; really out of the blue. We spoke the week before at the Beverly Covenant Church of Chicago, that, by extension through a common friend who is a missionary, has been praying for us for years. We didn’t know anyone at either place, but when we walked in, we were welcomed and treated like long lost friends. Greetings and smiles and hugs and meals abounded. At Beverly on the 14th they provided me with a bouquet for Valentine’s Day, and yesterday there were folks there with such servant hearts, making sure Roy & I had our tea and coffee while we spoke to the Sunday school class. We are confident of these dear friends’ prayers and care for us.As we carry each of you in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers, we thank you for doing the same! We hope and pray that each of you realizes that you are in the heart of the capital S Someone! That the Lord loves each of us so very much that He gave His son for us.
