Tim and others

Please pray for our brother-in-love, Tim.  He has been through some examinations that indicate he might have cancer again.  The various test results have taken him up and down with prognosis, but he has remained so very steady and full of hope and joy, partially because he gets to interact again with his oncologist and staff and any patients in the waiting room, but mostly because he knows who holds his future.  He shares bible teachings and prayers weekly, and we so appreciate his words that bring balm to our hearts.  He has an amazing servant heart and is our 92 year old, Alzheimer’s stricken mom’s main caretaker.  Would you pray with us for him, as well as for other dear friends currently battling with cancer, especially Hannah, Marion, Ron, Sue, and Jenny, for healing, peace, and a sweet, deep knowledge of the Lord’s comforting presence.

About danforth

As Covenant missionaries, we are working with all the tribal groups of the Central African Republic (CAR) but are trying to give special attention to the Fulani, a Musxlim, cattle herding, and semi-nomadic people group. We live on an experimental/training farm, near a mission station which has a hospital plus bible and nursing schools. We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts. Due to the ongoing conflict and resultant ethnic cleansing in CAR, we are crossing the border to interact with our Fulani contacts.
