April prayer requests

Dear praying Friends and Family,

Yougouda, the Fulani man who was in a bad motorcycle accident, is home and is doing much better, and our colleagues there have been able to visit with him and pray for him.

Our visit in Washington state went really well, with good connections and great interactions all around.

We received clarification on news from our Jesus following Fulani friends; there is news of many baptisms and much avid reading of the Word.

We have finished up our speaking tour for the year, and now would appreciate prayer as we tackle our mile long book list and read and study and long to go deeper with God.

Roy would appreciate prayer as he and a very kind and willing group of friends establish a U.S. registered non-profit status for the CEFA (ag) project.

We would also appreciate prayer as Roy hopes to publish 2 books soon – agricultural step by step illustrated lessons, and a book on 100 tropical fruit/nut trees.

Thank you for praying for us!

About danforth

As Covenant missionaries, we are working with all the tribal groups of the Central African Republic (CAR) but are trying to give special attention to the Fulani, a Musxlim, cattle herding, and semi-nomadic people group. We live on an experimental/training farm, near a mission station which has a hospital plus bible and nursing schools. We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts. Due to the ongoing conflict and resultant ethnic cleansing in CAR, we are crossing the border to interact with our Fulani contacts.
