week 12 :: car repairs, sick puppy, hours and hours of lecture prep, unpacked a bit more, earthquake, market wanderings and fumbling our way through parenting in the midst of many tears and all that is new and different.
week 13 :: learning from miscommunication, found sweet corn and brussel sprouts at the store, first night on our own while Chris traveled out to the jungle, gratitude for the wonders of Skype and powerful reminders that our God is not contained by borders, language or theologies.
week 14 :: still sick pup, hours learning about pastoral education, birthdays celebrated, teaching at a pilot mission school program, inventing autumn and evenings spent around a full table with a full heart.
week 15 :: rainy days, visits from friends and supporting churches, budget building, questioning my ability to keep my children’s school uniforms white, started an English conversation club and enjoying more moments in our daily to explore our new home.
week 16 :: rest, preparations for future partnerships, Chris one step closer to ordination, little people with big feelings about dad being in Chicago, lots of quality time with lots of quality people and still in awe of the snow capped peaks in our new home.
