There are so many times that I am absolutely blown away by God’s goodness and faithful action in our lives and this is one of those times! Jesus told his disciples that they would do greater things, He told them too that there was a harvest awaiting them and us: “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” (Matt 9:37-38)
The harvest in Mozambique is indeed plentiful! Our churches in Mozambique are growing and reproducing at an amazing rate. We have three new church plants being inaugurated in the next few weeks! The amazing thing is that not only are these churches being inaugurated there are several more small groups are on their way to becoming new churches. We are reaching out into the border of Zimbabwe and into Malawi! There are 27 of these groups that are being nurtured into becoming mature churches …27!!!
On top of all this there will be a National Pastors Conference in the region where all of these new churches are being raised up. Please pray for these churches, small groups and for the Pastors Conference.
God is indeed great! He is gracious to His children.
Pray that these churches continue to grow, that people are brought to the Lord, and that God would be glorified in all that we are doing in Africa. Pray for our leaders!!! Pray that God would continue His work in their lives as they continue to spend their lives in His service. Pray too for our family as we continue to raise support! We still need 20% of our budget!
