A few weeks ago we had the opportunity to be a part of a special service at Fuente de Salvacion Covenant Church. This church is dear to our hearts as it is where we attended when we were first married. It’s a church that is growing and serving the community. On this particular Sunday they were commissioning a new pastor who is planting a new church in a different neighborhood with his family. They were also commissioning a lay person from the church who is coming on staff to serve alongside the pastor, visiting people in the congregation, training small group leaders, supporting the new church plant, etc. It was a very special day and we were blessed to be a part of the celebration.
