Here in Colombia on May 15th we celebrate the Day of the Teacher. It is a day to recognize the invaluable work of teachers, as they facilitate formation and learning. The kids took little gifts and cards to their teachers as school, for whom I am extremely grateful. Then on Sunday the local church we attend honored teachers, by thanking them for the role in the formation of children and by praying for them. I am so excited about this team of teacher, many of whom are serving in children’s ministry for the first time.

In the course of my time serving in Colombia, I have had the privilege of working alongside some pretty amazing teachers. They inspire me and challenge me in my own formational journey. And so through this blog, I want to give them a shout out. I want to recognize their creativity, endurance, patience, energy, love, care, and self-sacrifice.
