A Christmas Greeting

2010 is quickly coming to a close and we’re not sure where the past couple months have gone!! We are sure thankful for a little bit of time to slow down and reflect on God’s faithfulness and love this Christmas season. As we think back over the past year we have many reasons to give thanks. Here are just some of the highlights!

Ben’s birth on July 10th. He has brought so much laughter and love. I’m sure he and Sam are going to be good buddies.

Sam is officially 3 years old and it shows! He continues to amaze us with his vocabulary and challenge us as he seeks to exert his independence.

Big boy!

Julio and I are thankful to have another semester behind us. Julio only has one semester left at North Park Theological Seminary. This one was quite challenging! In January he’ll be traveling to Thailand with the Seminary for a J-term class. Katie is thankful for a great place to minister and serve and is enjoying new opportunities to use her gifts. She’ll be traveling more in the coming year, leading workshops on children’s ministry in some of the Covenant’s Hispanic churches.

We are so thankful for the time we spent in Colombia in November. We continue to be inspired by the ministry that is happening there. We are excited for the future and for the steps that we continue to take to return and serve as project missionaries.  Please keep us in your prayers as we continue to move forward and if you are interested in supporting us, please click here. We are so thankful for the support we have already received.

We were reminded again on Sunday of the good news of Christmas! We pray that this season you experience the deep love of God, manifest in the birth of Jesus.
