week 20 :: a week free of school for the kiddos, lots of reading in hammocks, cheering our Cubbies on to World Series victory, adventures on horseback to this old volcano crater and trips to camp to celebrate 50 years of youth ministry in Ecuador.

week 21 :: back to school realities, Chris doing a lot of Christian Ethics lecture prep, airport runs, mentorship meeting, anxiously awaiting the arrival of Ralph, grieving for our home country and friends that we love who are now living in more fear and uncertainty and doing our best to be ambassadors of a kingdom that is peace and inclusion and hope where we find ourselves.
