Dearest Friends,
As many of you already know, after much prayer and discernment we moved to Nashville, TN last summer as Chris was accepted into a doctoral program at Vanderbilt University. He has been awarded a fellowship which will keep our family in Nashville for the next few years as he studies, does research and has opportunities to teach. We are excited to share that we will continue to partner with Serve Globally in this new chapter of our lives, Chris serving as a scholar -practitioner through the Center for World Christian Studies and Jenny joining the work of the Global Personnel Team. Also, we will both continue to be connected to the Latin America Global Personnel team and ministries. We invite you to read the letter below from Rev. Dr. Paul DeNeui for more details and consider ways in which you can continue in partnership with the work God is doing around the world through the ministries of Serve Globally.
We give thanks for you each and every day! We are grateful for the ways that you have loved and supported our family throughout our years in ministry and especially in this past year as we transitioned back to the US in the midst of the pandemic. There are many days when our grief still feels very raw after leaving our beloved home and community with few goodbyes and building community in a new city has been tricky. In these days of isolation, we’ve been grateful every time we remember that we have a vast community of people who know and love us around the world.
