Are you anxiously checking the mail box at your church in hopes of finding a CHIC scholarship voucher?
We noted on the scholarship application that the funds were limited and would be awarded on a first come, first served basis; not guaranteed…and I need to let you know that we have officially awarded the last of the funds we had available. I am SO SORRY that we were not able to award $500 to each registered church!
Also, when we created the application form, we made a small oversight, in that we didn’t ask for your email address. With Youth Workers Connection a mere two weeks away, I need to keep that train on it’s tracks and won’t be able to call each church who missed the money.
So, if you haven’t received the voucher in the mail by the end of next week (Jan. 20) send an email to chic2012@covenantevents.org to inquire as to whether your scholarship got lost en route, or if we had in fact already run out of funds by the time your application was delivered to the CHIC Office.
