November 2013 Monthly Prayer Bulletin

Dear Praying Friends and Family,

A quick report…

We mentioned in our last bulletin that Sam was baptised on September 28 in the Tama River along with 13 others. It was a festive Saturday beginning with worship in the chapel (of the Okutama Bible Camp) and continuing down at the river with a picnic and baptism. Here’s a shot including Sam and Tim along with Gaius Berg, one of the pastors of Kurume Bible Fellowship. A beautiful and COLD river…

2013.09.28 Sam's BaptismLast week our schedule included two conferences. One was near Mt. Fuji southwest of Tokyo and was the annual CPI (Church Planting Institute) conference. This year about 350 from all over Japan (missionaries, Japanese pastors, business people who are living out their faith in the workplace, and anyone else who is interested in seeing the body of Christ grow in Japan) gathered to spend time in worship, discussion, networking, case-studies, and just general encouragement. It was a great time and Tim was able to attend. (Not a great photo but this gives you an idea of the conference as the participants met together in the evening around discussion tables)

CPI General 2The other conference was our own annual gathering of the Covenant mission family for 24 hours – a chance to worship, share dreams, challenge and encourage each other…. we’re a growing family which is exciting!  This day together concluded a busy but great week.

CMCJ Annual Conference All for this time…. we’ll write again soon. Thanks for prayers, particularly as the busy Advent and Christmas season is soon upon us. In the meantime…

Happy Thanksgiving!

We have so much to be thankful for and YOU are one of those big reasons.

Your partners in prayer and mission,

Tim & Andrea

(Sam, Lilla & Sky)

  1. Hi Pastor Johnson,
I am a listener of Audio Bible Japan and wanted to say thank you for your ministry. I looked for your church email address as I wanted to share my personal testimony re how Audio Bible Japan helped me but I could not find it anywhere. Is there an address I can send an email to, or should I write a letter? I live in U.S. I’d appreciate if you could reply to my email address.
    God bless,
    ABJ
